OVERVIEW
Life in the future of despair.
The 3D action-shooter "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6" takes place several years after the events of "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5”.
In "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 5", mankind successfully defeated the unknown invaders that suddenly attacked them.
Though the EDF and the humans were able to stave off their enemies, only 10% of the world population remained, leaving humankind at the brink of extinction.
Humanity defied the odds by defending Earth, but what remained was not a future of hope and recovery, but one of continued clashes with lingering alien colonists.
With a looming threat on the horizon, can humanity overcome their despair and defy fate once again?

CHARACTERS

Ranger
Your run of the mill land infantry squad of the EDF. In the last war, the Rangers were experts in combat and were able to use a wide range of firearms. They are well-balanced in terms of offense and defense. In this world of guerrilla-style combat, they are undoubtedly the core of the EDF.

Wing Diver
A special squad equipped with energy weapons that require no energy, capable of fighting in the air, and comprised solely of women.
Compared to the Rangers, their armor is lighter and almost nonexistent, which makes them less resilient. They compensate for this by having more than enough mobility and powerful weapons.

Fencer
They are dual-wielding, armored soldiers equipped with reinforced exoskeleton-type power-assist. The "Powered Skeleton", is capable of carrying over a ton, allowing it to equip heavy machinery. In the last world war, the Fencer squad, consisting only of soldiers equipped with the Powered Skeleton, played a very important role. Their name was inspired by the "Blast Hole Spear", a specialized piece of equipment made for them.

Air Raider
Air Raiders are aerial attack navigating soldiers. Before the last world war, terrorists attacked many urban areas, which resulted in many casualties because countermeasures against aerial attack were lacking. In order to combat the terrorists, there was a need for aerial attack navigating soldiers; this is how the Air Raiders were born.
In a battle of attrition, will the Air Raiders be able to perform as spectacularly as in the past?
